Thirty of us made it for a very enjoyable evening complete with a visit from Santa himself.

Tea Run to The Spread Eagle November 2008
MG Bear's High Tea Review
| 'For a day that started a bit murky our spirits were soon lifted by a little bit of sun and the prospect of a nice little run with a bit of posh nosh at the end.' |  |
| 'Setting out from The Bull at Fishbourne as we always do we struck out east along the A27 and up the A29 for Amberley and Storrington, over the back of Thakeham and back toward Pulborough before cutting across for Midhurst.' |  |
| 'The trip only punctuated it seems, by either a weak bladder in the lead car, or Mr. Harris’ insatiable desire to direct country traffic.' |  |
| 'As dusk settled we arrived at the Spread Eagle Hotel, ready for a fabulous spread of cucumber sandwiches, fresh scones and cakes, with lashings of cream and jam and hot tea.' |  |
| 'As a bear of typically uncontrollable hunger, it is not often that I am full to burst, but today I must say, it’s time for bigger trousers!' |  |

Arundel Gathering March 2008
| On the 30th March 2008 we hosted a gathering at Arundel Castle. |  |

We were pleased to have a 'guest appearance' from a beautiful Austin Healey (sorry a failure by the photographer) and a Frog-Eyed Sprite. |
| Owing to the previous wet conditions we were unable to park on the usual lower events field, but our visitors' MGBs, MGAs, Midgets, Fs, TFs, TDs, ZA, ZR and ZSs from all over the South of England including the Isle of Wight were adequately catered for on the roads and verges in the castle grounds. |  |

Fortunately the weather improved and the sun shone allowing us the freedom to enjoy all of the Castle grounds and gardens, and even at a small extra cost the Castle itself. |
